About the role
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our dynamic team at Acbel PolyTech (Phils.), Inc.'. This full-time role is located in Calamba City Laguna and will play a crucial part in supporting our comprehensive accounting operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Record daily financial transactions accurately and promptly.
- Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
- Maintain general ledger entries and financial records.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and payment requests.
- Monitor cash flow and petty cash transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
- Assist with audits by preparing required documentation.
- Maintain organized filing of financial documents, both physical and electronic.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
What we're looking for:
- Relevant educational background in Accounting or Finance related degree
- 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Must have basic knowledge in GL application and maintenance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Keen observer in every detail in terms of booking and support documents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Computer literate and with knowledge in SAP system
