Accounting Assistant

What you'll be doing
- Process vendor invoices, subcontractor billings, and site expense reports
- Track and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor and update project-related financial records
- Assist with payroll preparation and timesheet tracking for site & office staff
- Reconcile bank statements and manage daily transactions
- Support monthly closings, project cost reports, and audit preparation
- Maintain organized records of contracts, purchase orders, and receipts
- Provide general administrative support to the finance and project teams
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized
- Trustworthy and reliable with financial data
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting tools
- A strong communicator who can work with internal teams and vendors
- Interested in construction project workflows and finance
