Sales Assistant

A Sales Assistant plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and driving sales within a retail or business environment. They are responsible for assisting customers, ensuring the store is well-organized, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product recommendations and detailed information to meet customer needs.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns promptly and efficiently.
Sales Support:
- Assist in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Promote special offers, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
Store Operations:
- Ensure shelves are stocked, displays are attractive, and products are arranged neatly.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking items.
- Handle cash register operations, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to meet store goals.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to improve product knowledge.
High school diploma or equivalent (college education preferred for some roles).
Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
