- A Sales Assistant plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, restocking merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently.
- Maintain store presentation by stocking shelves, arranging displays, and keeping areas tidy.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages.
- Assist in promotional activities and sales campaigns.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to store goals.
- Follow company policies, including health and safety regulations.

- Previous retail or sales experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
