Accounting Staff (Fixed Asset Management) Japanese semicon plant

Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update the fixed asset register. Record asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, retirements, and write-offs. Calculate and monitor monthly depreciation expenses. Ensure proper asset capitalization and classification. Perform reconciliations between the fixed asset register and the general ledger. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to fixed assets. Coordinate and participate in physical asset inventory and verification. Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls. Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, and other departments regarding asset-related transactions. Utilize ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) to manage and monitor fixed asset records. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1–3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year of experience in Fixed Asset Management or Fixed Asset Accounting. Strong understanding of accounting principles and fixed asset accounting processes. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Close attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. [Better] Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems. Experience in audit support and fixed asset inventory management. Knowledge of depreciation methods and asset capitalization policies.
