Accounting Manager

Gaisano Bros. Merchandising, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This full-time position is based in Cebu City, Cebu.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial processes and procedures
- Maintaining the general ledger by accurately recording and categorizing every financial transaction, including sales, expenses, and payments.
- Preparing essential statements such as balance sheets, income statements (profit and loss), and cash flow statements to provide a snapshot of financial health.
- Comparing internal records with bank statements or vendor ledgers to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
What we're looking for
- CPA holder
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards
- Proficient in the use of any financial software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
