Private Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and highly skilled Private Nurse to provide personalized, high-quality nursing care to a private client in a home setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the client's health, administering medications, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring the client's comfort, safety, and overall well-being while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care based on the client's medical needs and care plan.
• Monitor and assess vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and injections as ordered by the physician.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) when needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document all nursing interventions.
• Coordinate appointments and communicate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Educate the client and family members on health management and medication compliance.
• Ensure infection control and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Protect client privacy and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (home care, ICU, ER, or medical-surgical experience is an advantage).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and maintain discretion in a private household.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overnight shifts if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a private duty nurse or home healthcare nurse.
• Experience caring for elderly, pediatric, post-operative, or chronically ill patients.
• Valid driver's license (if transportation is required).
