Directly Reports To: PR Manager
- In the PR intern role, you will create content and proofread write-ups to be posted across multiple platforms. You will monitor daily social media traffic and engagement. You will also assist in the creation of monthly activity reports. This hands-on role will work closely with our PR team to support a variety of influencer marketing initiatives and PR efforts. be available to work in a hybrid set-up. Success in this role will be demonstrated by helping the company raise brand awareness and increase customer engagement.
- Note that this is an unpaid internship, however, we offer invaluable opportunities to gain practical skills and hands-on experience in social media and digital platforms for anyone passionate about this field.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven understanding of social media best practices as it relates to influencer marketing, and a strategic approach to a wide range of new and emerging platforms
- Ability to strategically identify, analyze and approach influencers for campaigns and sampling opportunities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to undertake simple administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of the department's activities
- Eagerness and willingness to learn and ability to multitask, manage their own time efficiently, and handle fast paced environment
- Enthusiastic about the competitive marketplace and willingness to stay up to date with influencer marketing trends
- Graduates of any course. Undergraduates are welcome.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing tools, especially Meltwater and Klear
- Experience in basic public relations practices, such as pitching media and writing content is an advantage
- Ability to understand the rapidly changing social media landscape
- Good communication and negotiation skills; Fluency in both oral and written communication.
- Strong teamwork, problem solving, analytical, and time management skills.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to high-pressure work environments.
