About the role
Plontur Group is seeking enthusiastic and creative Design Interns to join our Architecture team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time internship position that offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design and architecture industry whilst working alongside experienced professionals. As a Design Intern, you will contribute to various architectural projects and design initiatives, supporting the development of innovative solutions for our clients.
This role is based on-site in Pasig City, Metro Manila, allowing you to immerse yourself in our collaborative studio environment and learn directly from industry experts.
What you'll be doing
- Assist in the creation and development of architectural drawings, renderings and visual presentations for client projects
- Support senior architects and designers in conducting site surveys, measurements and documentation
- Contribute to the conceptualisation and design process for residential, commercial or mixed-use developments
- Prepare project models, both physical and digital, to communicate design concepts effectively
- Conduct research on design trends, building materials, construction methodologies and relevant architectural precedents
- Assist in preparing project proposals, specifications and technical documentation
- Participate in design review meetings and brainstorming sessions with the team
- Support the coordination of project timelines and deliverables under supervision
- Learn and utilise industry-standard design and architectural software as required
What we're looking for
- Currently undertaking a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture or Architecture
- Portfolio showcasing previous design work (academic or personal projects are welcome)
- Amenable for a hybrid work set up (on-site once a week)
- Available for either a part-time (24 hours/week) or full-time internship
