Role Summary/Purpose:

As the E2E Category Business Thought Partner for Personal Care, Home Care, and Skin/Baby/Home (PCP/SBH), you will serve as the dedicated single point of contact integrating consumer insights, innovation foresights, and commercial analytics to drive category growth. Anchored in a human-, innovation-, and consumer-insight-skewed profile, you will transform consumer truths, emotional brand drivers, and market realities into clear strategic direction for commercial teams. Additionally, you will lead the Philippines Human-Centric Insights & Foresights Capability Pod, pioneering predictive trend tools, Brand Notebooks, AI screening, digital twin personas, and AI-powered consumer research frameworks to sharpen brand building and accelerate innovation timelines across the enterprise.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Category Business Thought Partnership : Lead end-to-end strategic planning enablement for Budget Reviews (BR) and Mid-Year Reviews (MYR), monthly commercial cadence meetings, among others, for the assigned category, integrating consumer research, shopper insights, and commercial data into growth drivers.

• Capability Pod Leadership — Human Insights : Architect and scale frontier insight capabilities across the enterprise, including AI-enabled consumer personas, Brand Notebooks, AI screening, and trend foresighting tools.

• End-to-End Category Research & Innovation Analytics: Own the full research agenda for the assigned category—from white-space territory exploration, consumer immersions, and ideation to concept pre-testing, pack/product validation (e.g., HUT/BPA), marketing mix modelling, and brand equity tracking.

• Commercial Analytics & 5P Diagnostics Integration: Synthesize syndicated retail audit data (Nielsen/NIQ), household panel insights (Kantar), and internal sales metrics to ensure consumer foresights directly inform RGM, pricing, promo levels (Smart PnP), and omnichannel execution.

• Strategic Partnering & Thought Leadership : Champion T-shaped analytics across workstreams, acting as an indispensable thought partner to the Management Team, Category Heads, Customer Development Leads, and the Extended Leadership Team.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Psychology, Anthropology, Communications Research, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum 7years of experience in consumer insights, strategic market research, innovation research, or brand strategy within CPG/FMCG.

• Demonstrated Mastery in Category Research: Deep expertise in designing, executing, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative studies, concept/product testing, brand equity tracking, and consumer immersions.

• Capability in interpreting syndicated commercial data (Nielsen/NIQ, Kantar panel) to connect consumer behavior with market share outcomes and commercial performance.

• Strong strategic narrative and influencing skills, with a track record of shaping business decisions with senior leadership.
