Job Title: Assistant Manager - External Audit
Work Setup: Onsite or Hybrid | Dayshift
Location: Makati City
Job Overview:
The Assistant Manager - External Audit will lead engagements end-to-end, managing teams, and acting as the primary point of contact for client management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audit engagements end-to-end
- Manage and review the work of team members
- Review working papers for quality and completeness
- Handle complex audit issues
- Communicate directly with client management
- Manage engagement timelines and deliverables
- Manage engagement resources and team assignments
- Understand and monitor engagement budgets
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant audit experience, including experience leading engagements
- Experience working across at least 2 industries
- Experience using audit/accounting tools or software similar to Caseware (Caseware experience is not required)
- Able to clearly discuss industries handled, types of clients/accounts managed, and audit tools used
- Experience managing engagement budgets and resource allocation
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- CPA is preferred
