QUALIFICATIONS:
- A graduate of BS Accountancy or any related course
- Must have at least 6 months of experience as an external auditor from a reputable auditing firm or a large multinational company
- With good attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving
- Excellent in using MS Office,e especially MS Excel.
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Schedules and plans audits; initiates project planning, assesses risk, and develops audit direction (engagement/project level).
- Performs and controls the full audit cycle, including process and control risk management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations. In charge of audit work, including plan preparation, work papers, findings, and associated reports.
- Maintains a comprehensive system for recording all audit plans, work papers, findings, reports, and follow-up audits.
- Recommends revisions and/or additions to policies and procedures to improve governance systems, reorganization, and other internal control environments.
- Develops and maintains the Internal Audit Procedures/manual to ensure that best practice is taken into account and that the audits address specific areas of risk management.
- Agrees action plan is necessary to implement the audit recommendations; monitor the implementation of any recommendations.
- Conducts follow-up audits to monitor management’s implementation
- Responds to ad hoc requests to address control issues on new business processes, policies, and procedures, and provides consultative services to management.
- Assists the Internal Audit Group Head in the development of the company’s risk-based annual audit plan.
