We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk based in the Philippines to support our global toy company. The AP Clerk will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, recording, and processing vendor bills, as well as initiating timely and accurate payments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining our vendor relationships and ensuring financial accuracy across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and review incoming vendor invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and coding in accordance with company policies.
- Record invoices into the accounting system (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, or other platforms).
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts as applicable.
- Prepare and initiate payments via bank transfer, credit card, or third-party platforms.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of AP transactions and documentation.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles.
- Experience supporting international finance operations is a plus.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Stable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.
- Must be residing in or near Santo Tomas Batangas
Work Hours and Compensation:
- Must be available to work U.S. business hours (9am – 6pm EST).
- Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and location.
- Paid time off and local holidays observed (as applicable).
- Contractor or employment arrangement will comply with Philippine labor and tax regulations.
