QA/QC Engineer

Main competency:

QC Engineer should be able to independently perform quality inspections, evaluate test results, identify nonconformities, prepare quality documentation, and recommend corrective actions, while complex technical decisions may be escalated to the QC Manager/Plant Manager or appropriate technical authority.

Job Description:

*Implement quality control plans, procedures, and inspection requirements.

*Monitor quality activities from raw material receipt to finished product dispatch.

*Verify compliance with approved specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

*Supervise quality inspections and testing activities.

*Review production processes to ensure quality requirements are maintained.

*Monitor compliance with approved concrete mix designs.

*Monitor prestressing operations and verify compliance with approved procedures.

*Verify mold preparation, dimensions, and cleanliness before casting.

*Conduct and supervise fresh concrete testing.

*Monitor batching, mixing, casting, vibration, and curing operations.

*Verify compliance with process control requirements.

*Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when necessary.

*Investigate product defects and quality failures.

*Conduct root cause analysis.

Recommend corrective and preventive actions.

*Monitor effectiveness of implemented corrective actions.

*Maintain quality records and documented information.

*Support internal and external quality audits.

*Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 procedures.

*Assist in updating quality procedures and work instructions.

*Participate in management reviews and quality improvement programs.

*Coordinate quality-related activities with clients and inspectors.

*Monitor product quality trends and identify potential issues.

*Recommend process improvements affecting product quality.

*Verify and approve quality inspection reports within delegated authority.
