QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- COSH Certificate is an advantage but not required
- Strong understanding of Electrical system is a plus
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in construction company (commercial, residential, high-rise, mixed-use, fit-out projects)
- Knowledgeable in civil works, structural system and electrical installations
- Familiar with safety standard, codes and regulations
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools
- Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, design and supervise construction projects including commercial, residential, high-rise, mixed-use developments, and fit-out works
- Oversee civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and monitor daily construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards and project schedules
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and other disciplines
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, cost estimates, and documentation
- Identify and engineering and construction issues promptly
- Lead and manage site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and operations
- Implement and enforce occupational health and safety practices on-site
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Combination of office-based work and onsite project supervision
- Monday to Saturday work schedule
- May require travel to various project locations
