Accounting Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an Accounting Specialist. This role is crucial to the smooth functioning of our financial operations and plays a vital part in providing accurate financial information for decision-making. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Generate various financial reports for analysis and review.
- Perform internal audits and verify data integrity.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support the finance team during audits and tax filing processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and experience in the real estate industry
