Civil Draftsman

Key Responsibilities - Prepare detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Develop site plans, grading plans, drainage layouts, roadworks, utility plans, and other construction drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineer and client feedback.
- Ensure drawings comply with local codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, architects, and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain organized drawing files, revisions, and documentation.
- Assist in quantity takeoffs and preparation of technical documentation as needed.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
Qualifications
- Diploma, Associate's Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Civil Draftsman or CAD Technician.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with Civil 3D, Revit, or similar drafting software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and drafting standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with infrastructure, land development, roadworks, or utility projects.
- Familiarity with GIS, BIM, or other engineering software.
- Knowledge of local building codes and engineering standards.
