Draftsman

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and detailed plans based on engineering and design requirements. The role supports project execution by producing precise drawings for fabrication, construction, and manufacturing while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology Major in Drafting Technology ,  Architecture ,  Mechanical Engineering ,  Civil Engineering , or any related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in drafting, design, or technical drawing;  experience in the automotive or heavy equipment industry is  preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software; knowledge of  SolidWorks ,  SketchUp , or similar software is an  advantage
• Able to interpret  technical drawings, blueprints, engineering plans, and specifications
• Knowledgeable in  drafting standards, dimensioning, and detailing
• Willing to undergo an AutoCAD practical assessment as part of the hiring process
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, coordination, and teamwork abilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment
• Conduct testing, analysis, and validation of mechanical designs
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports
• Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend solutions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, procurement, and quality control)
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
• Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
