Anti-Money Laundering Senior - Financial Services

As an Anti-Money Laundering Senior – Financial Services, you will lead and support AML engagements involving regulatory change initiatives, investigations mandated by the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) and other international regulators, and AML assurance reviews, including internal audits.
Responsibilities
- Management of the Forvis Mazars’ relationship with clients including high-quality service delivery and co-ordination of service offerings from other departments
- Growing your knowledge of regulatory and compliance obligations of our clients
- Leading of assignments with clients in the abovementioned areas
- Reporting into the senior leadership, working towards the achievement of departmental goals and targets
- Involvement as an ambassador in firm / department / practice development and marketing initiatives
- Managing and developing junior team members
- Support business development initiatives, through preparing assignment proposals, thought leadership articles and representing Forvis Mazars at conferences.
Qualifications
- Qualification in a relevant industry qualification (e.g. Compliance Institute, ACAMs, ACA)
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience within risk and compliance consulting in a Financial Services environment.
- Understanding of financial services sub-sectors, e.g. banking, funds, payments, insurance
- Knowledge of AML challenges and developments within the financial services industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience of operational supervision of assignments/projects and managing of client relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organisational and planning capabilities
- Ability to work on own initiative and to provide guidance to others
- Experience of working to deadlines
- Excellent computer-literacy skills
