CPA Accountant

Role Summary

The role will support the Director of Accounting & Compliance and be responsible for assisting in management reporting, financial reporting and compliance for the NA Division. 

• Production of monthly management accounts packs within 5 working days of month end. 

• General ledger accounting, including journal entry and account reconciliation.  

• Perform reconciliations of key accounts, including bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets. 

• Ownership of month-end balance sheet reconciliations. 

• Supporting Accounts payable and Accounts receivable teams. 

• Involvement in the year-end statutory audit. 

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls. 

• Assist in the implementation of new procedures and systems. 

• Assist with ad hoc requests from both the finance and external teams within the company. 

• Ad Hoc project work as required.

Essential requirements

• Professional Accounting qualification of ACA/ACCA/CPA required
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) , with 3–7 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
• Team player with a collaborative style. 
• Highly organised and able to work under pressure. 
• Strong technical accounting skills. 
• Strong appreciation of a robust framework of internal controls and reconciliations. 
• Advanced excel user and strong system skills required. 

Desirable: 

• Experience in manufacturing/production/supply chain industry sector is a distinct advantage.
• Experience in power BI

• 100% Remote / Work From Home 
• Work Days: Monday to Friday
• Shift Schedule: 2pm to 11pm PH Manila time
• Earn  up to PHP 120,000 , with additional premium pay available for CPA professionals and candidates holding recognized international professional certifications.
