Technical Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities - Identify and develop new business opportunities for:
- Precision CNC machining
- Plastic injection mold design and manufacturing
- Mechanical design and engineering services
- Reverse engineering
- 3D printing and rapid prototyping
- Custom automation equipment
- Robotics integration
- OEM manufacturing solutions
- Prospect and engage manufacturing and engineering companies across the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, and selected Asian markets (excluding China and Taiwan).
- Identify and communicate with key decision-makers:
- Engineering Managers
- Manufacturing Managers
- R&D Managers
- Purchasing Managers
- Operations Managers
- Supply Chain Managers
- Business Owners
- Conduct technical sales discussions and understand customer requirements, including:
- Mechanical drawings
- CAD files
- Product specifications
- Materials and tolerances
- Manufacturing requirements
- Qualify opportunities and convert customer requirements into:
- RFQs
- Quotations
- Purchase orders
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for technical evaluation and quotation preparation.
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales pipeline reports.
Qualifications (Non- Negotiable)
- Proven experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, Business Development Engineer, Application Engineer, or similar technical sales role .
- Mandatory experience in precision engineering, CNC machining, plastic injection molding, industrial automation, robotics, OEM manufacturing, or related manufacturing industries.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of:
- Manufacturing processes
- Engineering workflows
- Product development cycles
- Technical customer requirements
- Proven experience generating and managing:
- Qualified RFQs
- Technical sales opportunities
- Quotations
- Purchase orders
- Ability to communicate effectively with:
- Engineers
- Manufacturing teams
- Purchasing departments
- Business owners
- Experience using CRM platforms for pipeline management, sales activities, and reporting.
