Lead the future of hybrid infrastructure! Join our team as a Cloud Architect (Azure) and play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable IT environments across Microsoft Azure and on-premises platforms. We're looking for an experienced infrastructure leader with deep expertise in cloud architecture, Windows and Linux administration, virtualization, automation, and disaster recovery to help drive enterprise transformation. ☁️

Position Objective / Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, automation, and disaster recovery who is passionate about driving modernization and enterprise architecture.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable hybrid infrastructure solutions across Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments.
• Manage Azure services including Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, App Services, AKS, Storage, Networking, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Azure Site Recovery.
• Develop cloud migration strategies, assess cloud readiness, and execute infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Lead infrastructure upgrade, migration, and obsolescence projects from planning through implementation.
• Design and support Windows Server environments including Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, IIS, Remote Desktop Services (RDS), and related technologies.
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN.
• Integrate enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions into hybrid environments.
• Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, operational procedures, and infrastructure standards.

Automation & Integration

• Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
• Integrate enterprise storage, backup, networking, and third-party systems to improve operational efficiency.
• Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and availability across cloud and on-premises environments.

Security & Compliance

• Implement security best practices for identity management, RBAC, data protection, and infrastructure hardening.
• Support vulnerability management, compliance initiatives, and audit requirements.
• Ensure infrastructure aligns with organizational security policies and industry standards.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiatives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to infrastructure engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technology vendors to deliver enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for complex cloud and infrastructure issues.

Technical Competencies

Required

• Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Storage, Identity, Backup, Disaster Recovery)
• Windows Server (2012–2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, RDS
• Linux administration (RHEL preferred)
• VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN
• Infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure CLI
• Enterprise backup solutions (Veeam, NetBackup)
• Enterprise storage technologies (NetApp, Dell, Pure Storage)
• Strong understanding of networking and hybrid cloud architecture

Preferred

• AWS Cloud experience
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and DevOps practices
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning
• PKI and enterprise security technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure architecture, migration, administration, and disaster recovery.
• Strong background in hybrid cloud infrastructure and enterprise data center technologies.
• Proven experience leading infrastructure transformation and modernization projects.
