We are looking for an experienced, proactive Social Media Manager in the Philippines to help build and manage our social media presence.This is not simply a posting or content scheduling role. We are looking for someone who can gradually take ownership of our social media function, bring creative ideas to the table, and proactively work with our team to capture the content needed to tell the Moncrief Construction story.The ideal candidate will be able to look ahead at the content calendar, identify what content is needed, communicate those needs to our field and office teams, and turn raw photos, videos, and project updates into polished, engaging social media content.What You'll DoOwn the Content Planning ProcessDevelop and maintain a social media content calendar aligned with company priorities and projectsLook ahead at upcoming content and proactively identify what photos, videos, project updates, and short clips are neededCommunicate clear content requests and direction to the Moncrief team so they know what to capture in the fieldDevelop content ideas rather than relying entirely on the team to provide themIdentify opportunities to showcase projects, craftsmanship, team members, company culture, and behind-the-scenes workCreate and Manage ContentTurn raw photos, videos, and project updates into engaging social media contentCreate and edit short-form videos, including ReelsWrite clear, engaging captions that reflect the Moncrief brandCreate graphics and other visual content using tools such as CanvaSchedule and publish content consistently across platforms such as Instagram and FacebookRepurpose existing content into different formats and postsMaintain an organized library of social media assetsBuild Toward OwnershipGradually take ownership of the day-to-day social media functionRecommend improvements to the content strategy based on performance and audience engagementMonitor comments and messages and flag items requiring the team's attentionTrack basic social media performance and provide regular updatesStay current with relevant social media trends and identify opportunities that make sense for the Moncrief brandLearn the company's projects, team, customers, and brand voice and use that knowledge to make increasingly independent decisionsWhat We're Looking For2+ years of professional social media management experienceA portfolio is required.
