INVENTORY ACCOUNTING AND AUDIT-3 YRS EXPERIENCE-SALARY: 28k - 30k - BRGY. SANTOL, QC

Job Qualifications:

- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or any related course.

- With experience in inventory accounting, inventory auditing, or stock reconciliation is an advantage.

- Knowledgeable in inventory control procedures and basic accounting principles.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management or accounting systems.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory records.

- Honest, trustworthy, and capable of handling confidential company information.

- Willing to conduct physical inventory counts and warehouse inspections when required.

- Fresh graduates may be considered, depending on the company's requirements.

Responsibilities:

Assist in collection monitoring, notify the client of upcoming due dates and constantly follow up on clients with past due.

For clients with past due of 5 days or more, immediately send a list of candidates warning Letter to management for approval at the end of the week

For clients with past due of 10 days or more, immediately send a list of candidates for a Hold Letter or Disconnection Notice to management for approval at the end of the week

Maintains a database for all PDCs, a summary report to be submitted on a weekly basis.

Maintains a database for all 2307 collected and uncollected to be submitted on a monthly basis

Maintains a database for all small claims filing to be submitted on a monthly basis

Submit a daily summary of check deposits per company.

Responds to phone or email inquiries and assists in solving questions related to the payment status of customer's account; documents the status/ progress of collection efforts.

Notify Account Manager and Management if a client with a new or pending purchase order has past due.

Ensures strict confidentiality of financial records.

Ensure that collectors issue the correct type of receipts based on the nature of the transaction with a customer.

Assist collectors with any issues that arise during the collection process.

Ensures that every new customer's office address is properly identified with the assistance of the Account Manager to avoid sending the collector to the wrong address and wasting time/ resources

Coordinate with Account Managers for their respective clients with a delinquent account, and those clients that cannot be contacted

Prepare deposit slips for all dated and post-dated checks 1 day in advance prior to the deposit date. Provide a copy of the deposit slip to the President and accurately indicate the payment details at the back of the deposit slip.

Ensure that all customers that deduct withholding taxes issue a corresponding 2307 within the same quarter.

Audit monthly the issuance of receipts to clients and ensure that the receipts match the type of invoice issued.

Audit XLSI, GII Appurtenances, The Viceroy, and Consumables Inventory report of Warehouse Department, report variances if any.

Conduct random inventory counts and audits, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues.

Conduct a monthly audit on all forms issued by Warehouse and validate that correct forms are used for each transaction.

Identify process improvements that lead to cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities

Identify and recommend updates to accounting processes and procedures.

Support the overall objective and goal of the management

Ensure that all audit records and documentation are accurate and in compliance with applicable regulations.

Review and recommend changes in internal audit controls.

Prepare a monthly detailed report on audit findings.

Adheres to the provisions of the Company's Code of Conduct and Discipline.

Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
