Job Summary
The nurse assists in patient assessment, wound management, vaccine administration, patient education, and ensures compliance with clinic protocols and DOH guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer anti-rabies vaccines, tetanus vaccines, and other prescribed medications as ordered by the physician.
- Educate patients on vaccination schedules, wound care, and rabies prevention.
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient records, treatments, and vaccination schedules.
- Schedule and remind patients of follow-up vaccination appointments.
- Maintain vaccine inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of vaccines.
- Assist the physician during consultations and medical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, medical supplies, and equipment.
