About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales operations, strengthen distributor relationships, and drive growth across key retail accounts. The ideal candidate has a strong background in the FMCG industry, with proven experience in modern trade, key account management, and distributor management, preferably within the frozen or chilled category.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with distributors to achieve sales and distribution targets.
- Handle key retail accounts and maintain strong partnerships with Modern Trade customers.
- Conduct regular field and store visits to monitor execution, product availability, visibility, pricing, and promotions.
- Coordinate and oversee all sampling and Below-The-Line (BTL) activation activities.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence, competitor activities, and category performance.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive volume growth and market share.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports and recommendations for management.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective execution of programs and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of FMCG sales experience .
- Proven experience in Key Account Management and Distributor Management .
- Experience handling Modern Trade accounts .
- Background in the Frozen and/or Chilled category is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and business development skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and sales reporting tools.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and own a vehicle .
- Willing to travel and conduct extensive fieldwork as required.
