Business Development Officer

Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to generate, manage, and convert franchise inquiries for But First, Coffee (BFC) and DRYP. The role will handle potential franchisees throughout the sales process—from initial inquiry and qualification to proposal, follow-up, closing, and proper endorsement to the Franchise team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site acquisition and leasing activities, including location sourcing, market assessment, site evaluation, lease negotiations, and contract documentation for new store opportunities.
• Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries across all assigned brands
• Qualify leads based on budget, timeline, decision-maker, and readiness
• Manage the full sales cycle: inquiry → proposal → follow-up → closing
• Maintain consistent follow-ups and ensure no leads are missed or stalled
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales endorsements as needed
• Maintain accurate and updated sales pipelines and CRM records
• Coordinate with Franchise, Projects, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams
• Ensure proper client handover to relevant internal teams after closing
• Meet defined response-time SLAs and sales performance target.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Background in sales, business development and expansion, or account management
• Ability to manage multiple products, services, and price points
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
• Comfortable handling high inquiry volumes and fast-paced environments
• Experience in franchise, projects, or services sales is an advantage
• Professional and client-facing demeanor

• Consistent follow-ups and conversion monitoring per brand
• Weekly and monthly sales reporting to the Business Development Manager
