Regional Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities:
- Oversee regional purchasing and procurement to ensure product availability, competitive pricing, and optimal inventory.
- Manage supplier relationships, including pricing, quality, delivery, and issue resolution.
- Plan purchasing requirements based on sales demand, inventory levels, and market trends.
- Monitor inventory levels and turnover to prevent shortages, excess stock, and product losses.
- Review supplier invoices and resolve pricing, quantity, and billing discrepancies.
- Manage product returns, claims, damages, shortages, and quality concerns.
- Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Finance, and other teams for timely product supply.
- Analyze purchasing, inventory, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost and efficiency improvements.
- Escalate significant supply, pricing, contract, and supplier issues to Management.
- Participate in regional meetings and procurement-related projects and initiatives.
- Ensure supplier relationships and purchasing activities comply with company policies.
- Travel to stores, suppliers, warehouses, and other locations as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in regional purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- At least 3 years of managerial experience in a multi-site food retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement planning, supplier management, and inventory control.
- Experience in product quality evaluation, pricing, cost management, and market analysis.
- Experience handling invoices, billing discrepancies, returns, claims, shortages, and damaged products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage regional inventory and improve stock turnover and cost efficiency.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and regional management.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Must have experience in large-scale Food Retail.
