Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Bonds and Insurance Supervisor to oversee the management of construction-related bonds and insurance policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, mitigating financial risks, managing bond and insurance renewals, and facilitating claims processing to protect company assets and project interests.Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Engineering Management, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in construction project coordination
- At least 2 years of experience in bonds administration, insurance management, or claims processing
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, surety bonds, and insurance requirements
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and documentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Monitor and ensure continuous validity of Surety, Performance, and other required project bonds.
- Track bond expiration dates and coordinate timely renewals with contractors, bonding companies, and internal stakeholders.
- Assess contractor performance through project accomplishment monitoring and site coordination.
- Prepare reports on contractor delays, bond risks, and recommendations for management review.
- Facilitate bond claims processing and coordinate with relevant departments to recover potential financial losses.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all bond-related transactions and claims.
- Ensure projects are adequately covered under Contractor's All Risk Insurance (CARI), Property All Risk Insurance (PARI), COMMAR, and other applicable insurance policies.
- Monitor insurance policy validity and coordinate renewals or policy transitions as required.
- Facilitate insurance claims processing for project damages, accidents, and related incidents.
- Coordinate with project teams to obtain necessary documentation for insurance applications, renewals, and claims.
- Track and monitor insurance claims until final resolution and close-out.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and regulatory requirements related to bonds and insurance.
- Conduct periodic reviews and site visits to assess project risks and insurance coverage requirements.
- Develop and maintain monitoring systems, templates, and processes for bond and insurance administration.
- Coordinate with Project Teams, Contracts, IMG, Billing, and Legal Departments regarding bond and insurance concerns.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on bond and insurance status, claims, and risk exposures.
