Construction Takeoff & Bid Leveling Specialist (Remote)
Job Type: Full-Time / Remote
Industry: Construction / General Contracting (GC)
We are seeking an experienced Construction Takeoff & Bid Leveling Specialist to support our preconstruction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing construction plans, performing accurate quantity takeoffs, preparing bid leveling/comparison sheets, and analyzing subcontractor proposals.
Responsibilities:
- Review construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from project documents.
- Prepare and maintain bid leveling spreadsheets.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and pricing discrepancies.
- Support estimating and bid preparation efforts.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in construction estimating, takeoffs, or bid leveling.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, STACK, OST, or similar software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with a General Contractor (GC) is preferred.
