Insurance Underwriter Analyst

Documentation & Filing

• Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining insurance records, policy documents and transmittal

• Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and properly stored (physical and digital copies).

• Update and maintain the database of insurance transactions.

Insurance Policy Processing Support

• Ensure timely encoding of policy details into the insurance system.

• Assign Acceptance Slip (AS) numbers for new and renewal policies accurately.

• Submit AS numbers to designate insurance companies without errors.

Endorsement and Renewal Management

• Receive, verify, and process endorsement and renewal requests.

• Ensure accurate validation of endorsement corrections before transmission.

• Forward endorsed documents to Finance and other relevant departments on time.

Documentation and Record-Keeping

• Maintain an organized filing system for all insurance-related documents.

• Ensure all client and bank copies are forwarded to the appropriate departments.

• Perform regular audits to verify data accuracy in records.

Reporting and Compliance

• Prepare and submit monthly insurance reports as required.

• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.

• Identify and escalate any compliance issues to the Manager or Supervisor.

Customer and Departmental Coordination

• Assist clients and internal teams with insurance-related inquiries.

• Coordinate with insurance companies to confirm policy details and resolve discrepancies.

• Address and escalate client concerns related to insurance processing in a timely manner.
