- Cut, shape, and prepare materials such as acrylic, metal, wood, and vinyl for signs.
- Operate and maintain various machinery and tools, including CNC routers, laser cutters, saws, welders, and printers.
- Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design files to ensure precise construction.
- Assemble sign components, including electrical wiring and LED installation for illuminated signs.
- Apply vinyl graphics, paint, and other finishes to create the final product.
- Conduct checks to ensure all signs meet durability, finish, and structural integrity standards.
- Work with designers, project managers, sales, and installers to align with project requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure tools and equipment are in proper working order.
- At least a high school graduate
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience operating fabrication machinery (e.g., CNC routers, saws, and welders).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with different materials used in signage (vinyl, metal, wood, acrylic).
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail for precise work.
- Physical ability to handle materials and work safely.
- Understanding of digital design and printing processes is often a plus.
