Treasury Reconciliations Team Leader

SUMMARY

The Treasury Reconciliations Team Leader is responsible for performing and overseeing the bank reconciliation function and banking-related activities while providing leadership, guidance, and operational support within the Treasury Team. The role contributes to the effectiveness of the global finance function by ensuring treasury processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and controls.

The Treasury Reconciliations Supervisor ensures the timely and accurate reporting of account balances across all jurisdictions and supports continuous process improvement initiatives that enable the ongoing international growth of KING. The role is accountable for overseeing all bank reconciliations across multiple entities, managing treasury team members within the Satellite Office, and ensuring compliance with established treasury controls, policies, and procedures.

CORE RESPONSIBILITES

Treasury

• Lead, supervise, and develop the Treasury Reconciliation Team while providing support to key stakeholders.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Ensure payments received are reconciled against outstanding balances and that discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
• Oversee and complete the reconciliation and maintenance of electronic clearing accounts in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinate the resolution of overdue payments and outstanding balances with showroom and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with KING policies, procedures, and internal control requirements at all times. Review, assess and improve Treasury procedures.
• Oversee the management and timely response of the Treasury Inbox.
• Ensure exception transactions are investigated and resolved within agreed clearing timeframes.
• Monitor treasury processes and recommend and implement technology for continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control at Treasury function.

• Perform other supervisory or treasury-related duties as directed.

• Ensure issues impacting the timely completion of treasury activities are escalated and resolved appropriately.
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to team members while promoting accountability and high performance.
• Collaborate with key King Living stakeholders to ensure clear communication of work progress, priorities, and outcomes.
• Support the development and training of team members to enhance capability and succession planning.

CAPABILITIES

• Minimum 3 years' accounting or finance experience, including solid experience in treasury, bank reconciliations, or a similar finance function
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or supervising team members
• Sound understanding of general ledger, banking, treasury, and month-end processes
• Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and compliance requirements
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working with large ERP systems and managing high volumes of financial data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies efficiently
• Accounting qualification (Diploma, Degree, or equivalent) preferred
