About the role
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and execution of construction works
Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
Prepare method statements, work programs, and technical submittals
Coordinate daily site activities with supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers
Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
Coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities
Prepare quantity take-offs and material requisitions
Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements
About you
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Licensed Engineer preferred
Minimum 3 years of relevant construction experience
Knowledge of construction methods and standards
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
Project coordination and site management
Technical problem-solving
Time management and planning
Communication and reporting skills
