- Manage All Accounting Operations: Take ownership of the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS).
- Job Costing & Project Accounting: Maintain detailed job cost records, track project expenses against budgets, and analyze project profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Assist in the development of company budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against these benchmarks.
- Compliance & Taxes: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations (e.g., BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and prepare necessary tax filings. Coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures, implement best practices, and leverage accounting software to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Vendor & Client Management: Oversee payment processing for vendors and ensure timely collection of receivables from clients.
- Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in the Philippines is required.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience , with significant experience specifically within the construction industry .
- Strong knowledge of job costing, progress billing, and retainage practices common in construction.
- Excellent understanding of Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS)and relevant tax laws.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented , and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to identify discrepancies and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication skills , both written and verbal, to interact effectively with management, vendors, and clients.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a role with a high degree of autonomy.
