Cost Accountant

Description
Monitor the fixed assets and their inventory.
- Compute and analyze product costs, including materials, labor, and overhead.
- Maintain and update standard costs and cost sheets.
- Monitor cost variances and investigate discrepancies.
- In charge of Property Code tagging and recording.
- Prepare the report for the Monthly Depreciation of Fixed Assets.
- File and process the asset disposal directly to the BIR Office.
- Check the freight cost allocation and record the landed cost.
- Assist during semi-annual and year-end physical inventory count.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in audits and internal cost reviews.
- Recommend improvements to costing methods and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing accounting.
- A background in SAP is required for this position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Can start immediately.
