We are an expanding holding group acquiring and managing a diverse portfolio of established operating businesses across specialized sectors. Unlike traditional consumer brands, we do not run heavy outbound ad campaigns or complex growth funnels. Instead, our priority is establishing a clean, modern, and unified baseline brand footprint across all our operating companies.

Position Overview

We are seeking a senior, highly versatile Lead UX/UI Designer & Brand Strategist for an initial 6-month engagement to audit, standardize, and elevate the digital presence across our portfolio of brands.

This role serves as a hybrid between a Fractional Brand Strategist and a hands-on UX/UI Lead. Working closely with executive leadership (Chief of Staff, COO, CEO), you will evaluate the current digital footprint of our acquired entities, build foundational brand bibles, and directly redesign and modernize their websites—bringing every business up to the premier functional standard of our top-performing flagship digital assets.

You will establish a scalable framework for future business acquisitions and map out tailored growth toolkits for each entity (identifying which specific brands may eventually benefit from social media, SEO, or paid media down the line once their core foundation is solid).

Key Responsibilities

1. Portfolio Audit & Brand Framework Creation

• Digital Baseline Audit: Conduct a thorough audit of the existing web presence, messaging, and visual assets across all portfolio entities.
• Brand Bibles & Guidelines: Create clean, practical brand bibles and visual style guides for each operating business to lock in clear, distinct brand identities.
• M&A Onboarding Playbook: Build a repeatable framework so newly acquired companies can quickly undergo a brand refresh and website modernization.

2. Hands-On UX/UI & Web Execution

• End-to-End Web Redesign: Personally wireframe, prototype, and build modern, highly functional web experiences (using Figma, Webflow, WordPress, or modern CMS platforms) for portfolio brands lacking a digital baseline.
• Interface & Systems Optimization: Ensure all websites deliver exceptional user experiences, clear value propositions, and seamless functional touchpoints for prospective clients.

3. Strategic Roadmap & Resource Planning

• Tailored Channel Strategy: Prescribe specific downstream marketing tactics for each business unit based on its unique customer subsect (e.g., determining when a brand is ready for social media presence, content, or targeted PPC).
• Future Execution Scoping: Define exact role scopes for future specialized hires or execution support (designers, copywriters, campaign managers) as specific brand initiatives expand post-foundation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5+ Years in UX/UI Design & Brand Strategy: Proven track record in visual identity creation, web design architecture, and digital brand strategy for multi-client agency portfolios or holding groups.
• Portfolio Required: A strong, comprehensive portfolio showcasing end-to-end website redesigns, UI/UX case studies, and brand identity systems.
• Advanced Design & Prototyping Skills: Expert proficiency in Figma , Adobe XD, Webflow , WordPress, or modern website builders.
• Strategic & Practical Mindset: Ability to evaluate diverse operating businesses objectively and design clean, functional web assets without over-engineering unnecessary digital marketing campaigns.
• Executive Communication & US Overlap: Excellent written and spoken English, with the self-discipline to collaborate across US Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours.
