Role Overview:
- Validate language and expression (e.g., Bisaya-first, regional slang, tone)
- Ensure cultural and contextual relevance of content
- Support KOL vetting and strengthen regional credibility
Responsibilities
- Verifies and integrates Bisaya-first, BisTaglish, regional slang
- Reviews subtitles, humor, tone Ensures dialect use is intentional, not decorative
- Flags Manila-centric tone shifts
- Cultural & Context Validation
- Regional Credibility & KOL Vetting
- Identifies trending VisMin topics Suggests locally resonant formats Strengthens hyperlocal toolkit angles
- Ensures integration of VisMin references
- Spots niche, community-known creators
- Assesses it's impact to the VisMin audience
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Native or fluent proficiency in Bisaya and familiarity with BisTaglish.
- Deep understanding of VisMin culture, humor, and community dynamics.
- Strong editorial judgment with sensitivity to regional nuances.
- Experience in content validation, cultural research, or community engagement.
- Ability to identify emerging trends and creators within VisMin.
Setup:
- WFH, Cebu based, to report online
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
