Job Summary
We are seeking meticulous Credit and Collection Assistants to oversee account monitoring, credit evaluations, and collection activities across our regional branches. In this role, you will work closely with customers and field teams to ensure timely receivables processing and maintain healthy account aging metrics. You will balance detailed administrative oversight—such as updating ledger entries, preparing aging reports, and auditing collection logs—with active customer communication and operational coordination to resolve account issues effectively.

What You'll Do
- Credit Evaluation & Account Monitoring: Review customer credit applications, analyze credit histories, and monitor outstanding balances against established credit limits and payment schedules.
- Collection Coordination & Follow-Ups: Conduct systematic payment follow-ups via phone, email, and formal billing notices to ensure prompt settlement of overdue accounts.
- Reconciliation & Ledger Maintenance: Reconcile customer accounts, verify collection remittances from field staff, and update ledger records accurately in the database.
- Reporting & Risk Mitigation: Prepare monthly aging of accounts reports, identify high-risk receivables, and collaborate with branch management to formulate effective recovery strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in credit evaluation, account management, billing, or collections.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/accounting management systems, basic credit risk assessment, and financial record reconciliation.
