Alongside our team of 180+ members spanning Media Buyers, Copywriters, Content Managers, Landing Page Developers, Content Creators, Email & SMS Coordinators, CGC & Influencer Managers, we need an AI Media Buying Specialist to help merge advanced paid media expertise with artificial intelligence to optimize, automate, and scale media buying workflows across our paid social channels.
This role will work closely with our media buying, creative strategy, and client-facing teams to build AI-driven tools, bots, reporting systems, and workflows that remove repetitive operational tasks and allow our teams to focus on higher-level strategy, performance, and growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of dedicated media buying experience, with deep specialization in paid social platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience working with AI tools, Large Language Models, AI Command Line Interfaces, or similar automation tools.
- Proven experience building or working with apps, bots, automated publishing patterns, reporting workflows, or AI-enabled operational tools.
- Strong understanding of media buying workflows, campaign structure, audience segmentation, reporting, testing processes, and performance tracking.
- Experience using AI tools to automate complex business processes, data flows, SOPs, or operational workflows.
- A strong technical mindset and comfort working with APIs, scripts, automation tools, or technical teams.
- Bonus: Developer experience, especially working directly with Meta’s Marketing API or other ad platform APIs.

- You are comfortable testing, iterating, troubleshooting, and building systems that evolve over time.
- You take accuracy seriously, especially when automated workflows are pushing live changes into ad platforms.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Build, maintain, and optimize AI-driven tools, CLI applications, bots, and reporting systems that automate routine media buying workflows.
- Identify repetitive SOPs, publishing processes, reporting patterns, and operational bottlenecks that can be improved through AI or automation.
- Partner with media buyers, creative strategists, and client-facing teams to understand pain points and translate those needs into usable tools.
- Support the safe execution of live structural and campaign changes across ad accounts through automated processes.
- Establish and maintain a rigorous QA framework to ensure automated API or script-driven changes are accurate before they go live.
- Develop workflows for paid social platforms such as Meta Ads and TikTok Ads, with additional platforms added into the mix as needed.
- Explore and build initial functional workflows using Meta’s Marketing API to help scale automation capabilities.
- Help integrate AI CLIs, bots, and internal tools into daily team operations to improve adoption, alignment, and efficiency.
- Create systems that reduce manual workflow hours for media buyers and give the team more time to focus on strategy, testing, and performance.
- Continuously monitor, improve, and refine automation systems to ensure they are reliable, useful, and aligned with business needs.
ABOUT THE POSITION
This role is ideal for someone who sits at the intersection of paid media, AI, and technical problem-solving.
We are looking for someone who understands the realities of media buying and is excited to use AI to make those workflows faster, cleaner, and more scalable. This person will help build tools and systems that eliminate repetitive operational work, improve reporting accuracy, support QA, and create more time for media buyers to focus on strategy and performance.
Most of the work will focus on social ad platforms such as Meta Ads and TikTok Ads, though other platforms may be worked into the mix as required. Experience with Meta’s Marketing API, automated publishing workflows, AI CLIs, bots, or technical ad account operations would be a strong asset.
This position reports to the Head of Socials and will work closely with an amazing cross-functional team of media buyers, strategists, creatives, and operators who are excited to build smarter ways of working.
