STOCKMAN

About the role

A Stockman is responsible for organizing and managing inventory within assigned warehouse zones or categories, ensuring optimal storage utilization and compliance with warehouse policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Organize assigned brand or category according to popularity and ABC analysis, placing items with unique characteristics along common aisles and/or bays based on source, packaging, volatility, and preferred environment

• Replenish pick lines according to FEFO policy, transporting older expiries from storage areas to pick lines and transferring near-expiry items to quarantine areas

• Maximize utilization of rack and pallet capacities within assigned zone or category, including pallet or rack compression to accommodate more storage space and co-load different SKUs on same pallets and/or racks

• Manage product condemnation by identifying items that are damaged, have latent factory defects, or are expired, and perform physical segregation, documentation, and transport to BO area

• Update warehouse management reports including stock cards, locator maps, bin tags, cluster tags, and stock movement forms

• Report notable exceptions such as slow or non-moving product movement, near-expiry items, overstock, reserved items status, and product quality issues including infestation

• Provide information on product availability including out-of-stock and critical levels, and matched expiry requirements per market segment

• Assist in administration of inventory audit tools such as cycle counts, IRA, and LMA

• Perform other functions as assigned by immediate superior

About you

• Graduate of any four-year course preferred; college level or associate degrees

• Good communication skills
