Junior Buyer / Supply Chain Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of any business-related course (e.g., Business Admin, Supply Chain, or similar)
• With or without experience in purchasing or procurement
• Basic knowledge of buying process and supplier coordination

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Establish strong rapport with approved suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing
2. Follow up on shipments and deliveries, and communicate any changes to the appropriate

individuals 3. Assist other team members as needed 4. Source and locate shortage materials using available databases, knowledge, and experience 5.Qualify new vendors, negotiate pricing, request Net Terms, and establish long-term relationships 6. Contact manufacturers directly to secure special pricing and explore direct purchase opportunities 7. Perform timely and accurate data entry to support purchasing and logistics operations 8. Monitor and update purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment and accuracy 9. Work closely with the sales team to support strategies and efforts to win POs 10. Establish strong rapport with approved suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing 11. Follow up on shipments and deliveries, and communicate any changes to the appropriate individuals 12. Assist other team members as needed
