Job description:
General Accounting
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and monthly closings.
- Ensure accurate recording of revenues, costs, and expenses per project.
- Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet schedules.
Accounts Management
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable monitoring.
- Review supplier billings, contracts, and payment schedules. Monitor customer collections, sales contracts, and receivables aging.
- Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.
- Support management with financial data for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies.
Internal Controls & Documentation
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal control procedures.
- Maintain organized accounting records for audit and regulatory purposes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- At least 2-3 years accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
