Sales Operations Analyst (HubSpot CRM) | Dayshift | Hybrid

ZigZag is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team!
The Sales Data Analyst is a pivotal role within our client's sales function, sitting at the intersection of data, customer engagement, and pipeline management. This person will be responsible for turning outbound sales data into meaningful insights and qualified opportunities, while also serving as a first point of contact for inbound enquiries.
Working closely with the Marketing Coordinator, this role ensures that sales activity is informed by accurate reporting, well-managed CRM data, and a consistent approach to customer qualification.
Key Responsibilities
HubSpot CRM Management
Own and maintain the HubSpot CRM platform, ensuring data integrity, pipeline accuracy, and up-to-date contact and company records.
Build and manage workflows, sequences, deal stages, and reporting dashboards within HubSpot.
Train and support internal team members on HubSpot best practices.
Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to align CRM data with campaign activity and lead tracking.
Sales Reporting & Analytics
Produce regular sales performance reports covering pipeline health, conversion rates, activity metrics, and revenue forecasting.
Analyse outbound data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Deliver actionable insights to the sales team and leadership to support informed decision-making.
Develop and maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility of key sales KPIs.
Outbound Data & Appointment Setting
Analyse and segment outbound data to identify target prospects and prioritise outreach.
Qualify leads using defined criteria and conduct outbound calls to set qualified appointments for the sales team.
Manage and refine prospect lists to maximise outreach effectiveness.
Track and report on outbound activity, appointment conversion rates, and lead quality.
Inbound Call Handling
Answer inbound calls in a professional and timely manner, serving as a knowledgeable first point of contact.
Qualify inbound enquiries, capturing relevant information and directing calls to the appropriate team member.
Record all inbound interactions and follow-up actions accurately within HubSpot.
Ensure a positive first impression through excellent phone manner and customer communication.
Collaboration with Marketing Coordinator
Work in close partnership with the Marketing Coordinator to align marketing- generated leads with the sales pipeline.
Share data insights that inform campaign targeting, messaging, and channel strategy.
Coordinate on lead nurturing workflows and ensure smooth handover of marketing qualified leads into the sales process.
Skills and experience
Demonstrated experience managing HubSpot CRM, including workflows, pipelines, and reporting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present clear, concise findings.
Experience in outbound sales support, appointment setting, or lead qualification.
Confident and professional communicator, comfortable handling inbound calls.
High attention to detail with a structured, process-driven approach to work.
Ability to collaborate effectively across sales and marketing functions.
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting.
