Country Operations Lead (Egocentric Video Capture Projects)

We are seeking a highly driven Country Operations Lead to build and scale our egocentric video capture operations across the Philippines.

This role will own the end-to-end execution of large-scale AI data collection projects involving contributor recruitment, workforce management, project delivery, quality assurance, compliance, and operational performance.

You will serve as the primary operator responsible for transforming project requirements into successful field execution while ensuring that all datasets meet strict client specifications and quality standards.

This role requires a builder mindset, exceptional execution capability, and the ability to lead large distributed workforces while maintaining operational excellence.

Requirements

Project Delivery & Operations Management

• Own the successful execution of all Philippines-based egocentric video capture projects.
• Translate client requirements into operational plans, workflows, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Monitor project performance across throughput, acceptance rates, turnaround times, and contributor productivity.
• Establish operational dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership and clients.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and dataset quality.

Workforce Recruitment & Management

• Build and manage large contributor networks across the Philippines.
• Develop scalable recruitment strategies for project participants and field contributors.
• Oversee contributor onboarding, training, certification, and engagement programs.
• Manage workforce capacity planning based on project forecasts.
• Ensure contributor compliance with project requirements and data collection protocols.
• Maintain contributor quality standards and performance metrics.

Quality Assurance & Data Integrity

• Develop and enforce quality control frameworks for data collection projects.
• Ensure strict adherence to client specifications, recording guidelines, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage QA teams responsible for reviewing submissions and identifying quality issues.
• Analyze rejection trends and implement corrective actions to improve acceptance rates.
• Establish SOPs and best practices for large-scale data collection programs.

Team Leadership

• Recruit, develop, and lead Operations Managers, Project Coordinators, QA Specialists, and Support Teams.
• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for team members.
• Create scalable organizational structures to support rapid growth.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with international clients, project managers, and AI research teams.
• Support client audits, operational reviews, and project planning sessions.

Vendor & Infrastructure Management

• Manage relationships with recruiting partners, equipment providers, logistics vendors, and operational service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance meets business requirements.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks affecting project delivery.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure all projects comply with local labor regulations, privacy laws, and data protection requirements.
• Implement processes that safeguard contributor information and project data.
• Manage operational risks and business continuity plans.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams on compliance-related initiatives.
