Company Driver

A Company Driver is responsible for driving company vehicles to transport employees, goods, or materials to designated locations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company policies. They may also be responsible for vehicle maintenance and ensuring that deliveries or errands are completed as required.

Transportation:

• Drive company vehicles to transport employees, clients, or goods to various locations as needed.
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and arrivals.
• Ensure that vehicles are driven safely and in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Perform routine vehicle checks, including inspecting oil, tire pressure, fuel levels, and overall vehicle condition.
• Report any issues with the vehicle to the management team and coordinate for necessary repairs or servicing.
• Keep the vehicle clean and ensure that it is in good working condition.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of travel, deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Ensure all necessary documentation (such as delivery receipts or vehicle logs) is completed and submitted.

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is usually required.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a driver, especially in a commercial or professional setting, is often preferred.
• Experience with long-distance driving, deliveries, or specialized vehicles (e.g., trucks, vans) may be required depending on the role.

Skills:

• Good driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to navigate using GPS or maps for efficient routing.
