A company driver is responsible for transporting goods, employees, or clients to and from designated locations in a safe and timely manner. Their primary duties include:
Driving: Operate company vehicles (cars, trucks, or vans) to transport people or goods as required.
- Valid Driver’s License: A current, clean driver's license appropriate for the vehicle being driven (e.g., regular, commercial, or heavy-duty license).
- Driving Experience: Proven experience in driving, often with a specified minimum number of years (e.g., 2-5 years) of safe driving history.
- Clean Driving Record: A record free from serious traffic violations, accidents, or legal issues related to driving.
- Knowledge of Traffic Laws: Familiarity with local traffic regulations, road signs, and safety protocols.
- Good Physical Health: Ability to drive for extended periods, with good eyesight, hearing, and general health to ensure safety while on the road.
