- A company driver is responsible for safely operating a vehicle to transport company employees, goods, or documents to designated locations. This role involves ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained, adhering to traffic laws, and providing excellent customer service if driving clients. A company driver may also be responsible for handling vehicle-related paperwork, including maintenance logs, fuel records, and ensuring timely deliveries or pick-ups.
Experience:
- Prior experience as a driver (personal or professional) is preferred.
- Familiarity with local roads, traffic patterns, and locations is an advantage.
Skills:
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients or team members.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and adhere to traffic laws.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods while driving.
- Must be able to lift or assist with loading/unloading items as needed.
Personality Traits:
- Responsible, reliable, and punctual.
- Courteous and professional when interacting with clients or employees.
- Flexible and able to adapt to varying schedules or last-minute changes.
- Additional Certifications (depending on the job requirements):
