General Accountant

- Prepare, reconcile, and submit timely monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR tax returns (including VAT, Withholding Taxes, and Income Tax).
- Manage tax documentation, official receipts, sales invoices, and maintain updated BIR books of accounts.
- Assist in handling tax audits, assessments, and statutory compliance inquiries.
- Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Verify vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and process timely disbursement payments.
- Monitor receivable balances, issue billing statements/invoices, and execute collections follow-up.
- Prepare regular AP/AR aging reports and perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
- SAP & Financial Operations
- Record daily journal entries, adjustments, and financial transactions directly in the SAP system.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of general ledger (GL) accounts.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end financial closing processes and preparation of financial statements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field (CPA is a plus, but not required).
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in general accounting, tax compliance, and financial processing.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in navigating and processing entries within SAP ERP (FI/CO modules).
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and online filing portals (eFPS / eBIRForms).
- Strong skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and office productivity tools.
- Core Competencies: High attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent organizational skills.
