Technical Engineer

The Technical Engineer is responsible for providing technical support in the planning, design coordination, documentation, and execution of construction projects. The position ensures that engineering designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents comply with project specifications, applicable codes, client requirements, and company standards. The Technical Engineer works closely with the project team to resolve technical issues and ensure efficient project implementation. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEPF drawings and specifications for completeness and constructability.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings, method statements, technical submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Assist in planning and scheduling project activities in coordination with the Project Manager and Site Engineers.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding technical concerns and engineering requirements.
• Evaluate technical issues encountered during construction and recommend practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure all technical documents comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and contract requirements.
• Review and verify material specifications and assist in material approval and procurement.
• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site personnel as needed.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical correspondences, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Assist in value engineering, cost optimization, and constructability reviews.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve conflicts between various engineering disciplines.
• Coordinate revisions to drawings and ensure that the latest approved plans are distributed to the project team.
• Assist in inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Maintain accurate records of technical documents, as-built drawings, and project files.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) requirements, and applicable government regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Technical Manager

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional license is preferred but may not be required depending on the position.
• At least 3 years of experience in construction, engineering design, or technical coordination.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering or project management software.
• Knowledgeable in construction methods, engineering standards, and applicable Philippine building codes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
